I found myself skipping lines in order to find the interest to read it....
Although I'm thrilled that Ellery and Mr. Black are happy after all they went through, I found this novella had no depth. It was all about shopping at Tiffany, Neiman Marcus, going to Aspen, going over the top to get their children what they wanted for Christmas and how Ellery tricked Connor into letting her wear her sexy red Valentino dress to a party by buying another ugly dress at the salvation army that according to her makeup artist/hairdresser and Mason wouldn't look good on a homeless person. So you see, this novella simply painted a very superficial family. I know they've had their share if drama in the past and deserve happiness but the writer should had added a bit of interest and depth. Other than a brief mention of helping in a soup kitchen and actually helping a mom and daughter in need during Xmas, this story was about shopping, the high life and spoiled kids. I also found their complaints about flying economy to Aspen in an effort rough it totally ridiculous (pleazzze!).... this novella was extremely superficial and not worth reading .

How amazing to reconnect with the Black Family. Connor and Ellery are even more in love and connected on a level that most couples only dream about and now with there most precious extension of themselves Julia, who is a mini Elle and has daddy wrapped around her finger and Collin, whose mama's baby, makes life Perfect for the Blacks
Absolutely a must read series!

Connor ans Ellery love stories is one of a kind... Kept me in a bubble of forever and infinity, inspired me to be better and gives me hope in believing Black family does exist... Their love for each other and the will to protect their love ones. Truly a very heart warming read! I super love it! One for the books!
I adore this couple and seeing them with the children getting ready for the holidays. Connor and Ellery are ideal, loving and sexy. They are a dynamic couple. Julia and Collin are the apples of their parents eye and watching julia wrap daddy around her finger is worth the read. I can never get enough of this family so gi e me more of the black's. I have read every story about them including the books on julia and collin. I love sandi lynn and hopes she keeps the stories coming.
I've really enjoyed the Forever series, but this story was not put together very well. Story line did not seem to flow easily and seemed to just jump from one thing to the next. The daughter Julia for the most part frustrated me immensely. What a brat! And for the parents to just think her behavior is funny is disturbing. Overall, not worth reading.
It was just ok...I thought it would be a holiday story of the Black family with Julia and Collin as adults with their families but it was when they were little and although I liked Julia in her book being Julia and in Collin's book she was quite the annoying spoiled brat in this book with her only saving grace being how thoughtful she was for her new friend Lexi....nothing really happened so it was not a very exciting book...just them having christmas, a bit boring.
Overall,,this addition to the Forever series was what I will call,,a nice little feel good read. No steamy sex scenes,but I believe the author kept it that was as it was a book about family. Although predictable,,if you are familiar with the Black's it's a nice little addition. I think she also could have written it where we left off as the children were grown. I was surprised too see it wasn't. That would have been a better angle as it would have had more ground to cover. In my opinion.
So fun and sweet to spend time at the holidays with the Black family. Love, love, love 7 year old Julia (yes, she is already a Diva) and 5 year old Collin. It really felt like I was a member of the family enjoying their holiday traditions. I also loved how down to earth the entire family is and that Julia even sees a moment to give back which adds just a gentle reminder to us all. I have to admit that the classic moment is when both kids give the "gross" comment when their parents are making out. I'm really glad Sandi Lynn gave us this gift of the family at Christmas. It was an unexpected treat.
